RESUME

Anchor 1

I have a unique and successful background that is very different from most people. I wasn't expected to attend a top university, but I attended a world renowned college as a top ranked athlete. I wasn't expected to excel in an office setting, but I was promoted to a senior level position after less then a year. I am the youngest person in my position by 17 years and that type of challenge is what I live for. Being a student-athlete has taught me leadership, how to communicate, time management, organization, and handwork. Yet that doesn't set me very far apart from some people. Being able to look at the bigger picture of things, managing huge amounts of stress, taking criticism and failures and turning them into positive lessons, finding new ways to push my limits and overcome obstacles, and thriving in an intense fast pace environment. Those are the things that set me apart and make me the best candidate for the job. I have earned an amazing education and invaluable experience at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I committed over 50 hours a week balancing soccer, academics, and leadership through time management and hard work. I was a major part of our team winning two Big Ten Championships, making two trips to the round of 32 in the NCAA tournament, and I won several individual awards in the Big Ten. I have learned invaluable skills like teamwork, the ability to problem solving in a variety of different ways, communication skills, and the ability to work at a high level under extreme stress and pressure.

Captain of D1 College Soccer Team

I was voted captain of the team in a unanimous vote from the players and coaches. I was able to effectively manage communications between 30 team members and the coaching staff. I also â€‹successfully managed those 30 team members on and off the field by making sure they were working hard, going to class, getting good grades, and taking care of their bodies. I analyzed our team each week and sought ways to make each player better, and through this management style the team did very well on the field. Finally, I organized many community service events for our team to give back to the Madison area.

2015 - 2017

My job is to communicate with the athletic staff at UW-Madison, the Big Ten, and the NCAA about issues surrounding student-athlete welfare and enhancing the student-athlete image. I served as voting member and voice for the soccer team by representing their position and views on important issues every month. I also organized events to that allowed student-athletes to network, serve, and develop with other students, the greater UW-Madison campus and the Madison community. Lastly, I led discussions with the athletes and staff about the importance of mental health in student athletes and how we can stop sexual assault on campus.

Badgers Give Back

2013 - 2017

I led female student athletes in volunteer hours with over 100 hours in one year. â€‹I read to and completed reading comprehension activities with elementary and middle school classrooms to improve literacy in Dane County. I created memories and delivered gifts to children battling serious illnesses at the American Family Children’s Hospital.

I motivated young girls to do well in school by helping them complete homework assignments.
